Everyone Has Something to Deliver!

Looking for a way to give back in your local community and actually see the difference you're making?

Delivering with Meals on Wheels is one of the most rewarding experiences a person could have. Just ask one of our outstanding volunteers. They will tell you that when you help with Meals on Wheels, you're helping delivery more than just a meal -- you're bringing hope to someone who needs it.

ECMOW Outstanding Volunteer Awards

Barb Kaufman was selected as the 2018 first quarter "Volunteer of the Quarter!" She began volunteering with East Cooper Meals on Wheels in 2015 as a substitute Pastry Volunteer. Since then, Barb has become a routine Pastry Volunteer as well as Event Volunteer. Plus, she picks up Starbucks treats every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

When asked what she enjoys the most about volunteering at East Cooper Meals on Wheels, Barb says, "Being around people who love helping others! It fills my heart every week just being here. I choose to volunteer at ECMOW because I like being part of an organization that is so well supported by the community it can provide daily meals to people without a fee & without a waiting list."

Truly, we would not be successful without the daily efforts by our volunteers.
