Join the SUPPER CLUB!

Becoming a member of The Supper Club means that you are committing to help East Cooper Meals on Wheels feed your homebound neighbors through monthly, recurring donations. While all of our recipients receive a midday meal, many of them also rely on us to provide them with an additional daily meal for “supper”. These are our neighbors who are the most isolated—typically living alone and experiencing limited mobility, yet able to remain in their own homes because East Cooper Meals on Wheels delivers two nutritious meals to them every weekday. You can continue to make this possible as a member of The Supper Club

Gifts of all sizes make a difference when it comes to feeding our homebound neighbors, so we invite you to customize your giving level to a monthly amount that you feel will have a significant impact. The monthly donations made by members of The Supper Club provide East Cooper Meals on Wheels with predictable, sustained gifts that will help us deliver on the promise of providing healthy meals and a daily visit to the homebound in our community.

To join the Supper Club, simply select your donation amount then click, "I want to contribute this amount every month."

Creative Ways to Give: Supporting Meals on Wheels doesn’t always have to come in the form of a direct donation. Consider some of these unique and practical ways that you can make a difference.

Corporate Volunteering

We welcome the opportunity to work with businesses who want to engage their employees in regular volunteer activities. Whether it’s once a week or once a quarter, we can design an experience that will help your employees make a difference in the lives of our recipients.

Support our Pantry (on-going, throughout the year)

We are always seeking non-perishable pantry items for our recipients. Easy-open, low-preparation foods are welcomed. Unfortunately, we cannot accept home-prepared or food requiring refrigeration. We also aim for low sodium, low sugar and low fat foods to support the nutritional needs of our recipients.

Suggested items include:

LOW SUGAR/HIGH FIBER CEREAL
BROWN RICE or WHOLE GRAIN PASTA
CANNED MEALS (SPAGHETTIOS, RAVIOLI)
PEANUT BUTTER
LOW SUGAR JELLY
LOW SUGAR CANNED FRUIT
CANNED *LOW-SALT* VEGETABLES
JIFFY MIX
SUGAR FREE JELLO
MAC N’CHEESE
CANNED MEAT (TUNA, CHICKEN, ETC.)
SINGLE SERVE SNACK ITEMS (RAISINS, CRACKERS, ETC)

Donations to our Food Services area are accepted between the hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. We are located on the campus of Christ Church at Hwy 17N and Long Point Rd. After hours donations can be left in the designated food bins.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Will you give the gift of health and independence?

By making a donation, you're providing the daily nutrition that our homebound neighbors need to remain living independently in their own homes. Your support means that we will continue to deliver healthy meals without charge and without a waiting list to people like Louise, who has limited mobility and relies on us for most of his meals.

As the aging population increases, East Cooper Meals on Wheels is committed to meet the growing needs of future recipients, and your gift can make all the difference to your homebound neighbors, many of whom desire to “age in place.”

Your gift is extremely important because it provides resources that make an immediate impact. With projections for chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease rising sharply, we are learning much more about the direct connection between food and health. Through your support, we can expand our nutritional meal options to better meet the needs of future recipients.

Thank you for your support!
