Volunteer of the Quarter

Congratulations Warren Tawes!

Dependability is a key attribute possessed by each of our volunteers, and Warren Tawes is no exception. Each Monday morning Warren arrives without fail to pack meals for our regular delivery, but our ability to rely on him extends far beyond a weekly commitment. Whether it’s picking up 655 pounds of peanut butter and jelly from a food drive or packing coolers with ice at the golf tournament, Warren is always willing to lend a hand. He does the heavy lifting and hauling for some of our special deliveries and donation pickups, but his leadership truly makes an impact during the holidays. Warren organizes the set up for both our Thanksgiving and Christmas meal pack outs, ensuring that every table, cooler and utensil are ready to go when we pack over 1,000 meals for each holiday. His dedication comes full circle on those days, as you will find him right back on the packing line placing the final seal on each meal before it makes its way to a recipient. For all these reasons, we are proud to honor Warren Tawes as our Volunteer of the 4th Quarter!
